Umro Ivan T. Berend
Dana 30. kolovoza 2026. umro je u 96. godini jedan od najistaknutijih ekonomskih povjesničara Ivan T. Berend (1930-2026). Prevedene su njegove knjige Evropska periferija i industrijalizacija: 1780 – 1914. (suautor Gyorgy Ranki, Zagreb 1996), Centralna i Istočna Evropa: 1944-1993. Iz periferije zaobilaznim putem nazad u periferiju (Podgorica 2001), Ekonomska povijest Europe dvadesetog stoljeća: ekonomski režimi od laissez-fairea do globalizacije (Beograd 2009; Zagreb 2011; Ljubljana 2013), Evropa posle 1980. (Beograd 2012), Zgodovina v mojem življenju: spomin na tri obdobja (Ljubljana 2014).
