“European Culture(s) of Remembrance: Greece in Focus”, Thessaloniki (Solun), 3–9 October 2026

The call for participants for the fourth seminar of the “European Culture(s) of Remembrance” project is now open. The seminar will be held in Thessaloniki from 3 to 9 October 2026.

The seminar will bring together 20 European multipliers in history teaching or historical civic education to explore Greek culture(s) of remembrance through lectures, site visits, and discussions.

The programme will focus on three main topics: the multi-ethnic history of Thessaloniki, World War II in Greece, and Greece after 1945 — examined through the lenses of history & public memory.

Applications are open until 31 May 2026.
