International conference “Borders in Southeast Europe: Geography or Imagination?”
The international conference “Borders in Southeast Europe: Geography or Imagination?”, to be held in Podgorica on 16-18 May 2025, marks an important milestone in the nearly 30-year-old Joint History Project (JHP) and highlights the importance of its new phase, JHP 2.0.
“Međunarodna konferencija „Granice u Jugoistočnoj Evropi: geografija ili imaginacija?“, koja će se održati u Podgorici od 16. do 18. maja 2025. godine, predstavlja važan događaj u okviru skoro tridesetogodišnje inicijative Zajednički istorijski projekat (JHP) i ističe značaj njegove nove faze – JHP 2.0.”
Joint History Project
The Joint History Project (JHP) for all Southeast European countries is continuing – under the name JHP 2.0, which is the title of the project’s new phase. It builds on the work of hundreds of historians and teachers from the region who, between 1998 and 2016, authored workbooks in eleven languages, covering history from the Ottoman Empire to 2008.
Projekt zajedničkih povijesnih čitanki (JHP) za zemlje jugoistočne Europe nastavlja se u novoj fazi, pod nazivom JHP 2.0. Temeljen na radu stotina povjesničara i nastavnika iz jugoistočne Europe, koji su u razdoblju od 1998. do 2016. godine napisali šest knjiga na jedanaest jezika, koje pokrivaju vrijeme od Osmanskog Carstva do 2008. godine, JHP 2.0 je usmjeren na angažiranje mlade i nove publike, prvenstveno u digitalnoj sferi.
