CfP: Interpreting Leisure in Diasporic Communities: Motivation and Impact
The aim of the conference is to explore the relationship between leisure and identity formation in diasporic communities.
The conference represents the closing stage of the five-year research project „Exploring emotions in the (re)construction of diaspora identity: Croats in Australia and New Zealand (1945-1991)“, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
Proposals, limited to 300 words, along with a brief biographical statement, should be submitted by June 1, 2025 to Ivan.Hrstic@pilar.hr. Applicants will receive notification of the acceptance of their proposals by July 1, 2025.
The conference will take place from December 4-5, 2025 at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar, Marulićev trg 19, Zagreb, Croatia. The working language will be English.
