Međunarodna imagološka konferencija

Međunarodna
imagološka konferencija History as a Foreign Country (Povijest kao
strana zemlja), Zadar 22-24. ožujka 2012.

U Zadru će se
od 22. do 24. ožujka 2012. održati Međunarodni znanstveni skup History as a
Foreign Country: Historical Imagery in South-Eastern Europe. 
Organizatori skupa su članovi projekta »Imagološka istraživanja hrvatske
književnosti od 16. do 19. stoljeća« na Filozofskome fakultetu u Zagrebu, pod
vodstvom prof. dr. sc. Davora Dukića, i Odjel za etnologiju i kulturnu
antropologiju Sveučilišta u Zadru.

Glavnu
financijsku potporu skupu omogućila je Zaklada Alexander von Humboldt te je
zadarski  skup ujedno i prvi takav u Hrvatskoj koji financira Zaklada.
Potaknuti rezultatima skupa »Imagologija danas: dosezi, izazovi, perspektive«,
održanog u rujnu 2009. na Filozofskome fakultetu u Zagrebu, na kojem su vodeći
imagolozi osvijetlili respektabilne teorijske potencijale i istraživačke
mogućnosti imagologije u suvremenim društveno-humanističkim znanostima,
organizatori bi i ovim skupom željeli ispitati reprezentacijske/inscenacijske
aspekte povijesti/historije kao temporalne drugosti u kulturama jugoistočne
Europe. Međunarodni znanstveni skup u Zadru trebao bi okupiti oko 38 sudionika
iz  13 europskih zemalja, među kojima su i neka od vodećih imena u
imagologiji (Hugo Dyserinck, Joep Leerssen, Nedret Kuran Burcoglu i dr.).
