The Slovenian Migration Institute invites applications for the conference “Homecomings” and Internal Migrations in the History and Present of Central and Southeastern Europe, which will take place at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Primorska, in Koper, on 11–12 June 2026.
The event is co-organized by the Slovenian Migration Institute and the Faculty of Humanities in cooperation with the Institute of East and Southeast European Studies (IOS), Regensburg, and the Science and Research Centre Koper.
The regions of Central and Southeastern Europe have traditionally been regarded as areas of outmigration.
