HEC Inaugural Lecture: ‘Woodrow Wilson and the Reimagining of Eastern Europe’

Larry Wolff, Julius Silver Professor of History at New York University will hold the Inaugural lecture of the Department of History and Civilization The lecture will consider the evolution of Woodrow Wilson’s ideas about Eastern Europe during World War I as a problem of mental mapping, and will discuss how Wilson’s ideas about the region contributed to the geopolitical restructuring of Eastern Europe on the twentieth-century map.  Read more
