Sven Beckert (Harvard University) will give a talk in the framework of the HEC Colloquia hosted by the Department of History.

Professor Beckert’s research centres on the history of the United States in the nineteenth century, with a particular emphasis on the history of capitalism, including its economic, social, political and global dimensions. In this talk he will present his current work.
