Me\u0111unarodna konferencija odr\u017eat \u0107e se u subotu, 9. prosinca 2017. na Hrvatskom katoli\u010dkom sveu\u010dili\u0161tu u Zagrebu, u organizaciji Udruge \u201cRepressija\u201d (Zagreb) i Knji\u017eevnog kluba \u201cPlamen\u201d (Kijev).<\/p>\n

\u010cast nam je pozvati Vas na me\u0111unarodnu konferenciju pod nazivom \u201c100 Years Since the October Revolution: What Can the Right Learn From the Left?\u201d u organizaciji Udruge \u201cRepressija\u201d (Zagreb, Hrvatska) i Knji\u017eevnog kluba \u201cPlamen\u201d (Kijev, Ukrajina). Konferencija \u0107e se odr\u017eati u subotu, 9. prosinca 2017. u dvorani \u201cBl. Alojzije Stepinac\u201d na Hrvatskom katoli\u010dkom sveu\u010dili\u0161tu u Zagrebu (Ilica 242, ulaz iz Domobranske ulice), s po\u010detkom u 11:00 sati.<\/p>\n

Ove godine Europa obilje\u017eava 100. godi\u0161njicu Oktobarske revolucije. Na politi\u010dkoj desnici postoji, vi\u0161e ili manje opravdana, jaka odbojnost spram ljevi\u010darskih ideja utjelovljenih u Revoluciji. Takvi negativni stavovi obi\u010dno vode besplodnoj ignoranciji prema bilo \u010demu vezanom uz politi\u010dku ljevicu. Mi, Udruga \u201cRepressija\u201d i Knji\u017eevni klub \u201cPlamen\u201d, \u017eeljeli bismo uni\u0161titi tu barijeru, smatraju\u0107i ovu priliku korisnom za ozbiljnu raspravu o lijevim teorijama i praksama iz desne perspektive. Takve rasprave, kako mi to vidimo, mogu pomo\u0107i politi\u010dkoj desnici da promisli svoju kritiku liberalnog dru\u0161tva te razvije nove politi\u010dke i kulturne strategije za nadolaze\u0107e krize u Europi.<\/p>\n

International conference “100 Years Since the October Revolution: What Can the Right Learn From the Left?”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year Europe commemorates 100th anniversary of the October Revolution. Among political Right there is – more or less justified – strong aversion toward left-wing ideas embodied by the Revolution. Such negative attitudes usually lead to sterile ignorance of anything associated with the political Left. We, Association \u201cRepressija\u201d (Croatia) and Literary Club \u201cPlomin\u2019\u201d (Ukraine), would like to break this barrier, considering the occasion to be opportune for serious discussion about left-wing theories and practices from a right-wing perspective. Such discussion, as we find it, can help political Right to rethink its critique of liberal society and to develop new political and cultural strategies for upcoming crisis in Europe.<\/p>\n

The conference will be held at the Croatian Catholic University in Zagreb (Ilica 242, entrance from Domobranska Street), in the Bl. Alojzije Stepinac Hall. The working language of the conference is English.<\/p>\n
