Die Graduiertenschule f\u00fcr Ost- und S\u00fcdosteuropastudien begr\u00fc\u00dft am 30. November Prof. Dr. Diana Mishkova (Sofia) im Kolloquium in Regensburg. Sie wird einen Vortrag mit dem Titel “Transnationalism and Historical Regions: Lessons from Southeastern Europe” halten.<\/p>\n

Abstract:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The first part of the lecture will survey the long-standing intraregional tradition of conceptualizing Southeastern Europe as a supranational space and its relationship with nationalism. The second part will delve into the ways these regionalist schemes can be fruitfully related to the on-going debates about historical regions and transnationalism.<\/p>\n
