Edited by Tomislav Duli\u0107 and Goran Miljan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The edited volume Jasenovac Past and Present: History and Memory of Institutionalised Destruction, edited by Tomislav Duli\u0107 and Goran Miljan, examines the history of the Jasenovac camp during the Second World War and the subsequent development of its public and collective memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The edited volume explores the history of the Jasenovac camp under the Usta\u0161a regime in the Independent State of Croatia during the Second World War, as well as the contested memories and representations of Jasenovac in the post-war period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The volume emerges from an international collaboration between the Uppsala Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, the M\u00e9morial de la Shoah, the Stiftung Topographie des Terrors in Berlin, the Jasenovac Memorial Site, and the University of Belgrade and University of Zagreb \/ Sveu\u010dili\u0161te u Zagrebu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By bringing together historical analysis and research on memory and education, the volume contributes to scholarly debates on institutionalised violence, historical representation, and the transmission of contested pasts across generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the first publication in the new series Uppsala Studies in Comparative Genocide. The series editors are Professor Dag Lindstr\u00f6m and Associate Professor Roland Kosti\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p
