In the new season, lectures will <strong>take place at 3 p.m.<\/strong> and if you will be joining us in person, you are welcome to a coffee 20 minutes before the lecture begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lecture will be given by <strong>Dominik Gutmeyr \u2013 Schnur<\/strong>, and the title of the lecture is \u201c<em>Yugoslavia and Cambodia: Entangled Histories of Non-Alignment<\/em>\u201d. The lecture will be held in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yugoslavia and Cambodia: Entangled Histories of Non-Alignment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This presentation asks how Yugoslav and Cambodian political histories became entangled across multiple levels and how transnational encounters co-produced social histories of labor and education through Yugoslav companies\u2019 workforces in Cambodia and Cambodian students in Yugoslavia. It further examines the visual practices that shaped both official and private imaginaries of non-alignment, as well as the forms of cultural production emerging from these exchanges.
