From the first women who earned doctoral degrees in history during the first half of the twentieth century to the many historians who helped shape academic and scholarly life after the Second World War, this topic opens important questions about the relationship between gender, knowledge production, and the academic profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The volume aims to reconstruct the professional and intellectual biographies of Yugoslav women historians and to critically examine their role in the development of historiography throughout the twentieth century. Od prvih \u017eena koje su stekle doktorske titule iz istorije tokom prve polovine dvadesetog veka do brojnih istori\u010darki koje su nakon Drugog svetskog rata oblikovale akademski i nau\u010dni \u017eivot, ova tema otvara va\u017ena pitanja o odnosu roda, proizvodnje znanja i akademske profesije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cilj zbornika je rekonstrukcija profesionalnih i intelektualnih biografija jugoslovenskih istori\u010darki, kao i kriti\u010dko preispitivanje njihove uloge u razvoju istoriografije tokom dvadesetog veka.
