Kroz kratke pri\u010de o znamenitim povijesnim osobama i doga\u0111ajima iz druge polovice 19. i po\u010detka 20. stolje\u0107a autor nam prikazuje povezanost srednjoeuropskog kulturnog i politi\u010dkog prostora.
