Prof. Ana Miji\u0107 and her team, Sla\u0111ana Adamovi\u0107 and Jelena Joki\u0107-Bornstein present the theoretical and methodological framework of the project and provide insights in the recently completed first fieldwork phase in Vienna and Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ana Miji\u0107<\/strong>&nbsp;holds the position of Tenure-Track Professor of Qualitative Social Research at the Department of Sociology, University of Vienna. Her research is theoretically grounded in the sociology of knowledge and centers on identity formation in times of crisis, particularly under conditions of war and (forced) migration. From 2022 to 2025, she was a Visiting Professor at the Nationalism Studies Department at Central European University (CEU). Miji\u0107 lead the FWF-funded Project&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fwf.ac.at\/forschungsradar\/10.55776\/T779\">&#8220;Postwar Diaspora(s)&#8221;<\/a>&nbsp;(2015\u20132021) and was Co-PI of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/artofarriving.univie.ac.at\/\">&#8220;The Art of Arriving \u2013 Reframing Refugee Integration&#8221;<\/a>&nbsp;(2021\u20132023).
