(20 hours a week; employment from 15 September 15, 2017 until August 31, 2019)<\/p>\n

Your duties
\n\u2022 Contribution to collaborative, third-party research (application, project management and realisation)
\n\u2022 Independent research, particularly for a PhD research project
\n\u2022 Teaching and teaching support
\n\u2022 Student supervision
\n\u2022 Administrative support<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Your profile
\n\u2022 Masters degree in the humanities or social sciences
\n\u2022 Background in cultural studies, anthropology, comparative politics and international relations, contemporary history, Islamic and Oriental Studies or in Middle Eastern Studies
\n\u2022 Area studies knowledge of Turkey or another country in Southeast Europe
\n\u2022 Experience in comparative scholarly research (a background in quantitative methodologies is welcome, willingness to work with qualitative methods is required)
\n\u2022 Very good command of English, knowledge of Turkish or of a southeast European language
\n\u2022 Innovative thinking and commitment to independent academic work
\n\u2022 Openness towards new research questions and methods
\n\u2022 Excellent communications- and management skills
\n\u2022 Outstanding social skills and teamwork abilities<\/p>\n
