In recent months, new waves of protest have emerged across Southeast Europe \u2014from anti-corruption demonstrations in Serbia and North Macedonia, to widespread anti-authoritarian mobilizations in Turkey, and massive strikes in Greece. Often led by university students and youth, these protest cycles reflect shared outrage, grief, and frustration that have been turned into collective actions reclaiming accountability, justice, and political change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This roundtable brings together scholars and engaged observers to reflect on these mobilizations, exploring their local dynamics, regional entanglements, and the possibilities of transnational solidarity in a changing political landscape. What connects these movements? What challenges do they face? And what might they tell us about the future of democracy and resistance in the region?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
