He teaches and supervises in European Studies and has published widely on European intellectual history. His recent books are <em>Cultural Borders of Europe<\/em> (co-ed., Berghahn, 2017) and <em>Nuclear Waste Management and Legitimacy<\/em> (Routledge, 2012).
