Much has been said about the perceived lack of knowledge that took the world by surprise on the 24th of February 2022. We seek to challenge such a perception by approaching the question of knowledge as mediated by dominant epistemologies, global inequalities in knowledge making, as well as performance of expertise and positionalities in international politics. The conference places centre stage the production, circulation, and contestation of knowledge to discuss who gets to speak about the war, what kind of speech gains traction, and what perspectives and why tend to be ignored. The event is co-organized by CEU\u2019s Department of International Relations and the Invisible University for Ukraine (IUFU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference closes with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.civica.eu\/areas-of-work\/civic-engagement\/civica-public-lecture-series-tours-deurope\/\">CIVICA\u2019s Tour d\u2019 Europe<\/a>&nbsp;public lecture, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/events.ceu.edu\/2023-12-01\/civica-public-lecture-series-tours-deurope-russo-ukrainian-war-and-future-european-order\">The Russo-Ukrainian War and the Future European Order<\/a>&#8220;, which brings together&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lse.ac.uk\/ideas\/people\/mary-kaldor\">Mary Kaldor<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sociology.ucu.edu.ua\/our-team\/viktoriya-sereda\/\">Viktoria Sereda<\/a>&nbsp;and<a href=\"https:\/\/univie.academia.edu\/AntonShekhovtsov\">&nbsp;Anton Shekhovtsov<\/a>&nbsp;to reflect on additional aspects of the war.
