It is without a doubt that the works of Reinhart Koselleck bear the great potential to enable a critical discussion of social and political issues across many different disciplines. But how are his concepts and approaches appropriated and developed further and how do they influence current research\u2014from historiography to sociology, the philosophy of history, or political theory? How can Koselleck\u2019s approaches and ideas be rendered productive for current debates? In honor of his one-hundreth birthday, this international conference on the actuality of Reinhart Koselleck\u2019s work will address these and other questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference takes place in German and English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event takes place at the Deutsches Literaturarchiv Marbach in collaboration with the Universidad de Buenos Aires and the ZfL. It is sponsored by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation and supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
