Slavery on the Western Ottoman Borders: Records from the Sarajevo Kadi Court Records from the Second Half of the 16th Century<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phenomenon of slavery was widespread in the Ottoman Empire, yet there is little research on the Balkans. Kornelija Jurin Star\u010devi\u0107 will give us insights into slavery in this region based on court records from Sarajevo from the second half of the 16th century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
