La construction \u00e9tatique doit-elle pour autant \u00eatre rejet\u00e9e en tant qu\u2019objet d\u2019\u00e9tude ? Non, bien s\u00fbr, mais il faut assur\u00e9ment l\u2019aborder autrement. C\u2019est ce que sugg\u00e8re d\u00e9j\u00e0 une nouvelle historiographie qui, avec le d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019histoire globale, s\u2019attache \u00e0 \u00e9largir la focale. Dans cet ouvrage, il s\u2019agit aussi de prendre l\u2019\u00c9tat-nation au s\u00e9rieux, de l\u2019appr\u00e9hender comme un espace de sens, de circulations, de contraintes et de possibilit\u00e9s, qui se construit et se remod\u00e8le dans le temps, en interaction avec d\u2019autres espaces sociaux et selon des temporalit\u00e9s multiples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nathalie Clayer saisit ainsi la formation de l\u2019\u00c9tat albanais dans l\u2019entre-deux-guerres et la transformation de ses espaces sociaux dans un mouvement de travelling. Son objectif n\u2019est pas fix\u00e9 sur les institutions telles qu\u2019on les observe habituellement, ni sur des trajectoires d\u2019individus qui donneraient \u00e0 voir l\u2019importance des dynamiques infra- ou transnationales. Sa \u00ab cam\u00e9ra \u00bb bouge constamment de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 mieux saisir la complexit\u00e9 des dynamiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une contribution majeure \u00e0 la question de l\u2019\u00c9tat-nation, un apport \u00e9rudit \u00e0 l\u2019histoire albanaise et une proposition audacieuse sur les m\u00e9thodes narratives de l\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Nathalie Clayer, sp\u00e9cialiste de l\u2019histoire ottomane et post-ottomane des Balkans et de la Turquie, est directrice de recherche au CNRS (CETOBaC) et directrice d\u2019\u00e9tudes \u00e0 l\u2019EHESS.
