Introduction of the filtering process of migrants taking place in the \u201chotspots\u201d at the EU external border; the normalization of the border guards\u2019 violence as a method of migration deterrence and stricter border control transformed the migration possibilities and migration trajectories from and through the\u00a0 Southeastern European\u00a0\u00a0states.
