{"id":28304,"date":"2021-11-17T12:35:42","date_gmt":"2021-11-17T12:35:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/historiografija.hr\/?p=28304"},"modified":"2021-11-17T12:39:16","modified_gmt":"2021-11-17T12:39:16","slug":"cfa-doctoral-research-retreat-16-12-17-12-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/historiografija.hr\/?p=28304","title":{"rendered":"CfA &#8211; Doctoral Research Retreat &#8211; 16.12. &#038; 17.12.2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Centre for Southeast European Studies of the University of Graz coordinates the Doctoral Program \u201cEuropeanization&nbsp;Processes in Southeastern Europe\u201d &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dk-europeanization.uni-graz.at\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/dk-europeanization.uni-graz.at\/en\/<\/a>. It offers regular doctoral colloquia and events for&nbsp;students and researchers at the University of Graz working on&nbsp;Southeastern Europe.&nbsp;<br><br>The Doctoral Program is organising its 5th annual doctoral research retreat on 16 and 17 December 2021 at the Retzhof in&nbsp;southern Styria (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.retzhof.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.retzhof.at<\/a>). With the financial support of the state of Styria (Land Steiermark, Kultur, Europa, Sport), we are able to fund the participation&nbsp;of 9 doctoral students from the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia,&nbsp;Serbia).&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>The funding covers accommodation and food for up to three nights at the Retzhof as well as a travel subsidy of 100&nbsp;Euro. We are looking for doctoral researchers working on themes related to the larger theme of Europeanisation Processes in&nbsp;Southeastern Europe. The projects can draw from a range of disciplines, including but not exclusively political sciences,&nbsp;history, economics, sociology, anthropology, human geography. We are interested in critical approaches on how to study the ideas,&nbsp;influence and ways in which Europe and notions of Europe are shaping Southeastern Europe.
