So waren etwa die \u201egro\u00dfen Vier\u201c des jugoslawischen Fu\u00dfballs \u2013 Hajduk Split, Partizan und Roter Stern Belgrad sowie Dinamo Zagreb \u2013 und ihre Fanszenen nicht nur unmittelbar von den kriegerischen Auseinandersetzungen betroffen, sondern beteiligten sich zum Teil aktiv an ihnen. Heute steht der Fu\u00dfball in allen postjugoslawischen Republiken vor \u00e4hnlichen Problemen: Die Zuschauerzahlen sind r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufig, viele Fans wenden sich aufgrund von Korruptionsaff\u00e4ren in Verb\u00e4nden und Vereinen vom organisierten Fu\u00dfball ab. Gleichzeitig liefert und verst\u00e4rkt der Fu\u00dfball f\u00fcr seine Fans weiterhin relevante Merkmale ihrer Identit\u00e4t: Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit zum Verein, zur ethnischen Gruppe, zur Nation. So spiegeln sich die Rivalit\u00e4ten und Konflikte der Region auch im Fu\u00dfball, wie die im Band versammelten Fotos und Interviews eindringlich vor Augen f\u00fchren. Sie zeigen jedoch auch das zarte Erstarken von Forderungen nach Toleranz und Diversit\u00e4t, getragen von einer jungen Generation an Fu\u00dfballfans, deren Ideal Freiheit hei\u00dft \u2013 und die ihre Zukunft in Europa sieht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anne Hahn und Frank Willmann haben in Bosnien-Herzegowina, dem Kosovo, Kroatien, Montenegro, Nordmazedonien, Serbien und Slowenien mit Fans, Aktivistinnen, Wissenschaftlern und Kulturschaffenden gesprochen und Fu\u00dfballspiele besucht \u2013 von der ersten Liga bis zur achten. Die daraus entstandenen Texte und Interviews werden durch eine Vielzahl von Fotografien zum postjugoslawischen Fu\u00dfball erg\u00e4nzt.
