He was the founding director of the Museum of the Second World War in Gda\u0144sk.<br>His recent books deal with the post-World War II retribution and the history of the museum in<br>Gda\u0144sk and controversies it evoked.<br><br>Ljiljana Radoni\u0107 is a Senior Research Associate\/Group Leader at the Institute of Culture<br>Studies and Theatre History, Austrian Academy of Sciences. She has researched how World<br>War II is represented in museums in post-communist Europe. Her current ERC grant focuses<br>on &#8220;Globalized Memorial Museums. Exhibiting Atrocities in the Era of Claims for Moral<br>Universals&#8221;.<br><br>Dariusz Stola is a historian, author of several books and many articles on the history of<br>Polish-Jewish relations, the communist regime in Poland and international migrations in the<br>20th century.
