European Memory and Politics: A Crisis of What?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The debate will be held as a part of the &#8216;Genealogies of Memory&#8217; project, which this year takes place within the Memory Studies Association (MSA) annual conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session will present two quite different points of views on the recent and present memory politics and memory policies in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ivan Krastev and Marek Cichocki, from either liberal, or conservative positions, will discuss the political aspects of memories, bringing in both, the EU\/European context, as well as the regional Central-East European perspective.
