    Stefan Berger <\/strong>is Professor of Social History and Director of the Institute of Social Movements and the House for the History of the Ruhr at the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. He is the author of numerous books, including Nationalizing the Past<\/em> (2015) and Germany: Inventing the Nation<\/em> (2004) and the editor of A Companion to Nineteenth-Century Europe: 1789-1914 <\/em>(2009). He is, along with Kevin Passmore and Heiko Feldner, one of the Series Editors for Bloomsbury’s successful student book series, Writing History<\/em>.<\/p>\n

    Eric Storm<\/strong> is Senior Lecturer in European History at Leiden University, The Netherlands. He is the author of The Culture of Regionalism: Art, Architecture and International Exhibitions in France, Germany and Spain, 1890-1939<\/em> (2010). He is also the co-editor, along with Joost Augusteijn, of Region and State in Nineteenth-Century Europe: Nation-Building, Regional Identities and Separatism <\/em>(2012).<\/p>\n
