In den letzten 10 Jahren sind verschiedene Studieng\u00e4nge, Studienschwerpunkte und Lehrst\u00fchle zur Public History in Deutschland entstanden. Was sind ihre Ziele, was wird gelehrt bzw. gelernt, was erwarten die Lehrenden, was die Studierenden und was k\u00fcnftige potentielle Arbeitgeber\/innen von den Studienangeboten? Im Rahmen des Workshops sollen Lehrende, Studierende und Absolventen\/innen aus den verschiedenen universit\u00e4ren Standorten sowie Vertreter\/innen aus der sogenannten Praxis au\u00dferhalb der Universit\u00e4ten zusammengebracht werden, um kritisch den derzeitigen Stand des Studienangebots im Bereich der Public History zu reflektieren und zu bilanzieren. Auf dieser Basis sollen m\u00f6gliche gemeinsame Ziele und Standards diskutiert aber auch Unterschiede herausgestellt werden. Vielleicht k\u00f6nnen abschlie\u00dfend sogar k\u00fcnftige Kooperationen ausgelotet werden.<\/p>\n

Ziel des Workshops ist somit nicht nur der gemeinsame Austausch zwischen den verschiedenen Studienangeboten, sondern auch die Entwicklung konkreter Impulse f\u00fcr die (Weiter)entwicklung derselben.<\/p>\n

Workshop “Public History in der Lehre”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On 2.\/3.12.2019 the workshop “Public History in der Lehre” will take place at the Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t. Under the direction of Christian Bunnenberg and Irmgard Z\u00fcndorf (ZZF Potsdam), the participants will discuss the experiences and perspectives of the various Public History courses in Germany. What are their goals, what is taught or learned, what do the teachers and students expect?<\/p>\n

The aim of the workshop is to bring together teachers, students and graduates* from the various university locations in order to critically reflect on the current state of the study programme in the field of public history in German-speaking countries, perhaps also to take stock, to discuss possible common goals and standards, or to highlight differences and perhaps to sound out an outlook for future cooperation. The aim of the workshop is not only the joint exchange of different study programmes, but also the development of concrete impulses for the (further) development of the study programmes.<\/p>\n
