Das vierte Vienna Humanities Festival versammelt wieder f\u00fchrende K\u00f6pfe aus Wissenschaft, Kunst und Kultur zu einem mehrt\u00e4gigen urbanen Salon. In rund 40 Veranstaltungen, die meisten auf dem Karlsplatz, verhandeln wir die gro\u00dfen Fragen unserer Zeit.<\/p>\n

Das diesj\u00e4hrige Thema des Festivals ist \u201eUnheil und Hoffnung\u201c. Inhaltliche Schwerpunkte bilden das Jahr 1989 und seine Folgen, wissenschaftliche Innovation und die Zukunft der Gesellschaft sowie Fragen zu Radikalisierung und Religion und die Relevanz von Menschlichkeit in der aktuellen politischen Situation.<\/p>\n

The fourth Vienna Humanities Festival is yet another urban salon with leading figures from the worlds of academia, art, and culture. In nearly 40 events, held over several days primarily on Karlsplatz, we negotiate the burning questions of our time.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This year\u2019s festival theme is \u201cHope and Despair.\u201d Focal points include the year 1989 and its consequences, scientific innovation and the future of society, religion and radicalization, as well as the relevance of humanism for the present political situation.<\/p>\n
