The programm is open for master and Ph.D. students, recent graduates as well as young professionals interested in Danube region, cultural heritage, management in culture, ethnology, anthropology, economics, administration and related sciences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for Applications Danube School 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We invite you to apply to the <strong>Danube School \u201cCultural Diversity and Identity in the Danube Region\u201d from\u00a0 06.-11.10.2019 in Ulm\/Neu-Ulm\/Stuttgart, Germany.<\/strong>\u00a0 The Danube School 2019 is part of the Danube School Network and is the 3rd School 2019: Spring School took place in Novi Sad, Serbia in April 2019, Summer School will be in Budapest, Hungary in July 2019, Danube School in Germany in October 2019 and the final School in winter 2019 in Ruse, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>About:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Danube School Series is \u00a0a short term study program for postgraduate students and young professionals, who learn and discuss about facts, challenges and projects of the Danube Region. It is organised by the European Danube Academy in cooperation with several Universities of the Danube Region ( University of Tuebingen, HNU Neu-Ulm, University of Novi Sad, Andrassy University of Budapest and University of Ruse). About 25 participants meet for one week to discuss with academics and stakeholder about current challenges and possible solutions in different fields: cultural diversity, sustainability,\u00a0 migration, innovation &amp; start ups etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Focus 2019<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Focus of the Danube School in Ulm 2019 is \u201c<strong>Diversity and Identity in the Danube Region\u201d.<\/strong> The program includes lectures and discussions with international lecturers and high level political decision makers from the Danube Region as well as Workshops about developing own Danube Projects in international teams.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Date:<\/u><\/strong> 06.-11.10.2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Venu<\/u><\/strong><strong>e: <\/strong>Ulm\/Illertissen\/Stuttgart, Germany<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Language:<\/u><\/strong> English<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Participants<\/u><\/strong>: 25 participants, aged 18-39 years, from all Danube Countries; The school is open for master and Ph.D. students, recent graduates as well as young professionals interested in Danube region, cultural heritage, management in culture, ethnology, anthropology, economics, administration and related sciences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements to be a participant of the program are: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong interest in the Danube Region\u2019s politics, economy, culture and history<\/li>\n<li>Basic Knowledge about the Danube Region and the European Strategy for the Danube Region<\/li>\n<li>18-39 years old<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate student, student in the last years of the undergraduate studies or recent graduate<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>ECTS:\u00a0 <\/u><\/strong>Every participant will receive a certificate of attendance with 3 ECTS. However, you have to attend at least 90% of the lectures according to the program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Publication:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Results and outcomes of the Danube School Series 2019 will be published in a book end of 2019. Participants and lecturers have the chance to publish results of the project work, own research results and scientific texts about the Danube Region after the school. Please add the information about your current research project in the Danube Region or ideas about your publication text in your application form.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Deadline for application<\/u><\/strong>: 21.07.2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Costs: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>European Danube Academy will cover the accommodation and catering costs during the Summer School.
