WAR OR PEACE. CROSSROADS OF HISTORY 1918\/2018<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 17-21 OCTOBER 2018 \/ BERLIN<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2018 marks the centenary of the end of the First World War. On the occasion of its remembrance, the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) and the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin invite international guests and artists to explore questions of \u201cWar or Peace?\u201d throughout history.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n From 17th to 21st October 2018, over 300 young international participants will be invited to Berlin to take part in the festivals\u2019 Campus programme. Selected participants will take part in a three-day workshop, get to know interesting people from all over the world and engage in a rich and diverse festival programme. Find out more and register to take part in the Campus section of the website.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We are looking forward to invite more than 300 young professionals from Europe and beyond who are interested in investigating different notions, expectations and realities of war and peace. We call for people with diverse perspectives, backgrounds and identities who are eager to share their knowledge and ideas of remembrance and utopia.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you are interested in the revelation and examination of historical contrasts and constructs, we want you to participate. The application is open for everyone aged 18-30 years with a strong interest or professional background in history education, remembrance work, public or urban history, peace and conflict studies, arts or related subjects.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If we aroused your interest, please consider the following before applying:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2022Registration for taking part in the festival is only possible by filling out the online registration form. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
\n\u2022Registration is possible until June 30th, 2018.
\n\u2022The registration does not guarantee participation. Participants will be selected based on the information they submitted.
\n\u2022Applicants will be informed about the success of their application three months before the festival at the latest.
\n\u2022Our festival language is English. Therefore, we can only consider applications written in proper English.
\n\u2022To apply, you will have to provide personal and professional information about yourself, identification details, your preferred workshops and your genuine motivation for participation (maximum 1.500 characters).
