“This is What we Fought for”: Contested Employment in Transitional Bosnia-Herzegovina<\/strong><\/p>\n

This talk explores the politics of identity in large industrial giants in Bosnia and Herzegovina. While in the 1970s and 1980s a global- and market-oriented \u201cYugoslav identity\u201d was championed amongst employees, ethno-nationalist discourse of the 1990s have affected working environments and aspects of self-identification amongst workers. Has a \u201cworkers\u2019 identity\u201d been ethnicised, and through which processes?<\/p>\n
